Cookie policy

I tell it the way I'd want it told to me: clear and without small print.

What a cookie is

A cookie is a small text file a site stores in your browser when you visit. It's used to remember things — for example, that you've already dismissed the cookie banner and don't want to see it again.

Which cookies I use

On juansacri.com I only use technical and preference cookies, strictly necessary for the site to work properly. I don't sell your data. I don't profile you for ads.

Technical cookies (no consent required)

  • jsacri_cookies_v1 — remembers whether you accepted or rejected the cookie banner, so it isn't shown again. Expires when you clear browser data.
  • jsacri_nl_auto_v1 — remembers if you've already seen the newsletter popup, so it isn't shown again. Expires when you clear browser data.

Measurement cookies (require your consent)

If you accept, I use Google Analytics 4 via Google Tag Manager to understand anonymously what content is useful to you. The cookies set are:

  • _ga — anonymously distinguishes users. Expires after 2 years.
  • _ga_HJ3F6XVQZ1 — maintains session state. Expires after 2 years.

If you reject, these cookies are not set (I use Google Consent Mode v2).

What I do NOT use

  • I don't use advertising tracking cookies.
  • I only use Google Analytics if you accept or Facebook Pixel.
  • I don't share your browsing with third parties.

Third-party services

Some site components load third-party resources that may set their own cookies or logs:

  • Google Fonts — to serve the typefaces.
  • send-mail.php — handles contact and newsletter form submissions so they reach my email.

How to disable cookies

You can clear or block cookies at any time from your browser settings. If you disable them the site will keep working — you may just see the banner or newsletter popup again.

Changes to this policy

If anything significant changes, I'll update it here. Last revision: April 2026.
